TodoCast Launches iPhone, iPad and Android Live Streaming
SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO , Calif., July 13, 2011: TodoCast, the first comprehensive, interactive online video platform and media services company, today announced live broadcasting capabilites to Apple iOS devices and Android mobile platforms.
TodoCast customers can now broadcast live on-the-go to Apple iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad and Android devices. Streaming live to mobile audiences over 3G or Wi-Fi connections happens with minimal setup. This turn-key streaming capability uses H.264 HTTP live streaming functionality included in the native QuickTime player that Apple has pre-installed on the iPhone, RTMP is used for the Android. This means that customers do not need to obtain iPhone App Store approval to launch their own iPhone live streaming channel, nor do their viewers need to install any application. Streams are viewed using the iPhone’s Safari browser.
